Carl Winslow

Carl Winslow is a police officer for the Chicago Police department. He is a strict, but loving father to Eddie, Laura, and Judy, but has very little patience with Steve Urkel.

Reginald VelJohnson is best known for his work as Carl Winslow on "Family Matters" and as Sgt. Al Powell in the first two "Die Hard" movies. As Carl Winslow, Vel Johnson portrayed a devoted cop, husband and father whose patience is tried by uber-nerd Urkel. More recently he played a recurring role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" as Dr. Philip Kane. Off-camera Reginald VelJohnson enjoys singing and dancing and is a marathon runner.
