Angie Lopez is George's rock. Even as she confronts George's lax parenting style and shakes off Benny's tactless jokes, she keeps everything on an even keel. It doesn't hurt that she has a seemingly infinite amount of patience.
CONSTANCE MARIE: Constance Marie must be one of the hardest working actresses in Hollywood. While co-starring on "George Lopez" as George's wife, she also starred on the critically acclaimed series "American Family," alongside Edward James Olmos and Raquel Welch. It wasn't acting that gave Marie her big break, however. She began her performance career as dancer in Los Angeles's underground break-dancing scene and was selected from a group of 500 hopefuls to dance on tour with David Bowie. Later she played Penny in the CBS series "Dirty Dancing," which led to starring roles in feature films, including Selena Quintanilla's mother in the blockbuster "Selena." Marie returned to TV in the hit series "Spin City," and earned an Alma Award nomination for her role on "Union Square." In 2002, she earned her second Alma Award nomination -- and the award -- for her role in the feature film "Tortilla Soup."
