Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan) is quieter and more inclined to the arts than his brothers. He hides his intellect from Malcolm and Reese, in many cases cleverly taking advantage of them.
Erik Per Sullivan: (Dewey)
A Swedish-American with a gift for comedy, drama, and Tae Kwon Do, Erik Per Sullivan notched a couple of hit movies and a starring role in "Malcolm in the Middle" before the ripe old age of ten. Sullivan began acting at age five when his father took him to an open casting call for "Armageddon." After appearing as an extra, Sullivan won his first credited film role in the Oscar-winning film adaptation of John Irving's "The Cider House Rules." Along with his role on "Malcolm," Sullivan continued to work in movies like "Joe Dirt" where he played the young David Spade character. He also voiced Sheldon the Seahorse in the gigantic hit, "Finding Nemo."
